Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our field-based wound care team. In this role, you will provide hands-on wound assessment and treatment to patients across Orange and Los Angeles Counties. You will work under the supervision of physicians and advanced practice providers, serving as a critical point of contact for patients managing acute and chronic wounds in post-acute and community settings.

  • Execute wound care plans as ordered by supervising physicians or advanced practice providers
  • Administer dressing changes, wound cleansing, packing, and routine wound treatments
  • Deliver Ultramist therapy in accordance with established clinical protocols
  • Identify and communicate changes in wound status to supervising providers in a timely manner
  • Assist with advanced wound care procedures as directed
  • Educate patients and families on wound care, treatment goals, and signs of complications
  • Collaborate with physicians, NPs/PAs, RNs, and facility staff to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress in the EMR
  • Upload wound photos, measurements, and clinical notes per organizational standards
  • Represent Innovative Wound Solutions with professionalism and compassion in all patient and facility interactions
Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of clinical LVN experience; post-acute or outpatient setting preferred
  • Prior wound care experience preferred; Ultramist training will be provided
  • Strong clinical documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work independently in the field with minimal direct supervision
  • Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license required
  • Ability to travel throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
